Yes! You can browse our entire story library and read the first page of any story without an account.

  • Automatic subscription starts after trial (if not cancelled)

The free trial is available once per user.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, you can cancel anytime from your account settings.

When you cancel:

  • You keep access until the end of your billing period
  • No partial refunds for unused time
  • You can resubscribe at any time
  • Your reading history is preserved

What is "Today's Story"?

"Today's Story" is our featured story of the day.

It's a great way to discover new tales without having to browse!

You'll find a link to it in the navigation menu.

What languages are available?

Stories are available in multiple languages:

Each language includes both translated text and native audio narration.

How do I change the language?

You can set your preferred language in your account settings.

Once set:

  • Stories automatically display in your chosen language
  • Audio narration plays in your language
  • You can switch languages while reading using the language selector

Are all stories in all languages?

We're actively translating our entire library.

Most stories are available in English, with translations being added regularly.

If a story isn't yet available in your preferred language, it will display in English.

How do I create an account?

Click "Get Started" or "Sign Up" on our homepage.

You'll need to provide:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Create a password

Accounts must be created by adults (18+) who will be responsible for the account.

What is the Dashboard PIN?

The Dashboard PIN is an optional 4-digit code that protects your account settings from little fingers!

When enabled, you'll need to enter the PIN to:

  • Access your dashboard
  • Change account settings
  • Manage your subscription
  • View billing details

This prevents children from accidentally changing settings or cancelling subscriptions.

I forgot my PIN. How do I reset it?

If you forget your PIN:

  1. Click "Forgot PIN" on the PIN entry screen
  2. We'll send a verification link to your email
  3. Click the link to verify your identity
  4. Set a new PIN

What does "Autoplay Next Story" do?

When enabled, a new story will automatically start playing after you finish the current one.

Perfect for those nights when one story just isn't enough!

You can toggle this feature on or off in your dashboard settings.

How do I manage my mailing list subscription?

When you create an account, you're automatically subscribed to our mailing list to receive updates about new stories and features.

You can easily manage your subscription:

  • Go to your Dashboard
  • Find the Mailing List section
  • Use the toggle to subscribe or unsubscribe

Note: Unsubscribing from the mailing list will not affect important transactional emails like subscription confirmations or password resets.

How do I save my favorite stories?

You can save your child's favorite stories for quick access!

To add a story to favorites:

  • Open any story
  • Tap the heart icon in the header
  • The heart will turn pink when favorited

To manage your favorites:

  • Go to your Dashboard
  • Find the My Favorite Stories section
  • Click the X on any story to remove it

You can also enable Favorites Only Mode in Settings to only cycle through favorite stories during autoplay!

Can I see my reading history?

Yes! Your dashboard shows your reading statistics:

  • Total stories read
  • Total pages viewed
  • Complete reading history
  • Story completion status

It's a fun way to track your bedtime story adventures!

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account from the Settings page.

Please note:

  • Account deletion is permanent
  • All your data will be removed (including reading history)
  • Any active subscription will be cancelled
  • This action cannot be undone

Is the content safe for children?

Absolutely! All our stories are specifically designed for children aged 3-8.

Content focuses on positive themes like:

  • Kindness and empathy
  • Friendship and sharing
  • Bravery and courage
  • Curiosity and learning

There is no violence, scary content, or inappropriate material.

Do you collect data from children?

No. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Accounts are created and managed by parents or guardians.

The only child-related data we store is reading history (which stories were read), which helps parents monitor their children's activity.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes! We use Stripe, a leading payment processor, to handle all payments.

  • Your credit card details are never stored on our servers
  • Stripe is PCI-compliant
  • Bank-level encryption protects your information

Will I see advertisements?

It depends on your subscription status:

You will NOT see ads if you:

  • Have an active subscription (monthly or yearly)
  • Are on a free trial

You may see ads if you:

  • Are browsing without logging in
  • Do not have an active subscription

Advertisements help us support the service and keep it running. Subscribing removes all ads and gives you full access to all stories and features.

We use Google AdSense for advertisements. All ads are family-friendly and comply with children's content guidelines.

The audio isn't playing. What should I do?

Try these steps:

  1. Check that your device volume is turned up
  2. Make sure your browser allows audio playback
  3. Try refreshing the page
  4. Try a different browser (Chrome, Safari, or Firefox)
  5. Check your internet connection

If the problem persists, please contact support.

Images aren't loading properly. What can I do?

This is usually a connection issue. Try:

  1. Checking your internet connection
  2. Refreshing the page
  3. Clearing your browser cache
  4. Trying a different browser

I'm having trouble logging in. What should I do?

If you're having login issues:

  1. Make sure you're using the correct email address
  2. Try the "Forgot Password" link to reset your password
  3. Check that cookies are enabled in your browser
  4. Clear your browser cache and try again
